Data integrity
Scan Ai receives and sends information from LIMS and/or dataLink and digitizes the counting. All the data from the analysis are traceable and auditable. The results are validated by a double electronic signature. Thanks to account management, you have multi-level access for the validation of results. This solution thus ensures the reliability and security of data in accordance with FDA guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Annex 11.

With dataLink, the sample is monitored from the plating to the automatic colony counting.
Set the parameters for the label to be adhered to the side of the plate. The colony counting is then optimized.
White LED Dome lighting, reflection and shadow free
Petri dishes are difficult to light, because they are transparent and reflective. Heterogeneous lighting often creates artifacts on the meniscus of the agar and on the edge of the plate. These artifacts are counted as colonies or prevent perfect counting.
We have designed a white diffusing dome that provides 360° lighting for the plate, without any reflection or shadow. The light is diffused from all points, and provides lighting without artifacts for counting even on the edge of the plate.

Applications
Scan 5000 Ai is used for colony counting by artificial intelligence on all sizes of Petri dishes, up to 150 mm. The integrated AI allows the analysis of a wide range of different media, techniques and culture supports with accuracy and repeatability, in particular filtration membranes for liquid samples and EM contact plates. The AI also offers classification of the different types of colonies including bacteria, yeasts and moulds.
