Accuracy and repeatability

The counting of Petri dishes is long, tedious and can vary from one person to another.

Scan 300 can count up to 1000 colonies in 1 second in a constant and repeatable mode. Counting accuracy reach up to 98%. The minimum colony size is 0.1 mm.

Data integrity

Scan receives and sends information from LIMS and/or dataLink and digitizes the counting. All the data from the analysis are traceable and auditable. The results are validated by a double electronic signature. Thanks to account management, you have multi-level access for the validation of results. This solution thus ensures the reliability and security of data in accordance with FDA guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Annex 11.

Traceability and printing of results

Scan connects to the LIMS in bi-directionality and can be connected to the diluter and plater via dataLink, a traceability system. It offers multiple export possibilities to save time on manual entry and thus increase the security and quality of your analyses.

Export your results to your PC or archive them in CSV, Excel™, OpenOffice™, PDF, SCA, BIO format. You can also export images from the camera in JPEG, PNG and BMP format.

Parameter the label that will be stuck on the edge of the dish. The colony counting is then optimised.

Dark Field lighting technology

Thanks to the Dark Field technology and its low lighting, colonies are easy to count. The operator does not tire his eyes.

Applications

The Scan 300 colony counter is used to read Petri dishes plated manually or with the Spiral technique. It implements the interpretation of the Spiral technique, in particular for total flora on PCA according to the ISO 4833-2 standard.
